While we had been seeing this movement on the street, Roy responded to the trend's relevance and added a good dose of elegance. Bra tops and sheer-sided dresses paired with strong shoulders or pointy Manolo Blahniks ("venomous" as Roy described) kept the look ready for the "strong woman" Roy is always designing for.
Helena Christensen remarked, "Many of the pieces would be beautiful to dance in. They reminded me of a modern ballet performance."
