There are few things we like here more than fashion. But a good drink is one of them. And if it's organic and less likely to give us a nasty headache, then all the better. Well, we just got a little sample of ROOT, the new certified organic spirit crafted by fave Philly-based brand Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, and, put simply, it's dangerously delicious and smells like the root beer of dreams. Allegedly, this new elixir was inspired by an 18th-century Pennsylvania folk recipe for Root Tea, and the Art gang are calling it "the first true American liqueur since the Pre-Prohibition Era." Given all the good ingredients—pure botanicals such as anise, birch bark, cloves, and cardamom—we're convinced ROOT could cure a hangover instead of cause one. After ordering a bottle or two online, our new drink of choice could be ROOT's summery spin on the Rusty Nail:
