Kanye West Demands Disabled Audience Members To Dance

Oh, Kanye West. Just because Yeezus walks does not mean you have the power to heal the handicapped. Nor can you stop your concert to demand that audience members who cannot stand do just that.

That's exactly what happened at a show in Melbourne, though. While performing at Qantas Credit Union Arena, Yeezy stopped the show to demand the entire audience stand up before he would perform "The Good Life." Two fans remained seated, though, because they were in wheelchairs.

"I can't do this song; I can't do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t," an eyewitness reports West as saying. "Imma see you if you ain't standing up, believe me, I'm very good at that."

In response, the fan actually waved a prosthetic limb (oy), to which Kanye replied, "Okay, you fine." One would think the show could go on from there, but West then spotted another fan still sitting down.

"This is the longest I've had to wait to do a song, it's unbelievable," Kanye remarked. Even though the crowd was yelling that the seated audience member was in a wheelchair, West sent his bodyguard into the arena to confirm. Here's what a fan tweeted about the incident.
