Not just for moms and aunts anymore (and, um, this little girl), plastic surgery is becoming more and more of a multi-generational family affair. A new study shows a whopping 77 percent of seniors (senior citizens, that is; we're not talking unusual high school graduation presents) in America would go under the knife for a more fierce physique.
One 73 year young Florida woman interviewed says she'd love to have a little eye work done (wouldn't we all?), but fears the risks involved. That means no lunchtime lipo, as procedures are a bit more complicated due to skin elasticity and thickness and other pre-existing health probs. Unlike your average surgery shopper, elderly patients require a little more time than just popping in for a quick nip/tuck. Despite the risks involved, popular procedures among the older set include facelifts, liposuction, eyelid surgery, and breast augmentations and lifts. We get it — it's a jungle out there. Some seniors are choosing to have work done to appear more youthful in workforces dominated by the young(er) generations, while others say they feel young on the inside and simply want their outward appearance to match.
