Ryan McGinley Gets Up Close And Personal

There's a pretty good chance that if you see a photograph set in an otherworldly landscape with water-colored clouds and nude models running free, it's a
Ryan McGinley
. However, in his latest exhibition at Team Gallery, it looks like he's ditched the color but kept the lack of clothes (just the way we like it!). Starting Thursday, the seriously badass shutterbug will be showing his new work entitled "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere", exhibiting a different aesthetic that focuses more on the subjects than the landscapes. Capturing the raw beauty of youth in its natural state, the images are intimate and emotional. He hand picked over 150 models (umm, where were we?) from all over and then shot them raw in black and white at his New York studio. The killer portraits certainly prove that sometimes less really is more.
